Graduate from The Assistance Dog Institute in California and prior experience as a trainer with Canine Assistants in Georgia. Sharon piloted an at-risk youth dog program (while employed with Canine Assistants) with Associated Marine Institute, which later expanded into several other states. She conducted a "reading with puppies" program at elementary schools in several counties and started the Cell PALS program at Bay Correctional Facility in 2004. She has overseen service dog training for Canine Companions for Independence and detection training for Auburn University Canine Detection Training Center at Bay.
